I would like advice about the adjustable pedals on the 2009 Azera. I do not own a Hyundai and never have, but I am seriously contemplating such a purchase. I want a Genesis but my wife says the front pillar blocks her view on a left turn. I am 6 foot and big, she is 4 ft 11". I heard about adjustable pedals on the 2009 Azera but they were discontinued for 2010.

Are they safe and will they do the job of accommodating 2 different sized drivers? Why were they d/ced for 2010? Should I start a search for a "new" 2009? How is the front leg room in the Azera?

Thanks

I had them on my 06, they were nice to have. I'm over 6ft and I typically drove with the seat fairly far back and the pedals all the way towards the firewall to give me plenty of leg room.

I own an '07 Azera. I'm 6'1" and my wife is 4'11". The adjustable pedals was a major selling point for us. She loves it because she doesn't have to sit so close to the steering wheel and air bag as she did before. The pedal position is not part of the memory system but since she likes them all the way up and I want them all the way down I just hold the down button on while I adjust the rear view mirror.

I'm 6' 4". My wife (5'2") got so tired of adjusting my old Sebring's seat she quit driving it and opted to take her Sienna around town even when it wasn't really that appropriate. The adjustable pedals in my '08 Azera were a selling point, along with the memory seat presets. Tilt and telescope steering wheel is very nice, too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) Highly recommend you look into an '09 so-equipped!
