My OEM bulbs lasted into the mid-40K range, but I've had to replace the low-beams twice now within the past year. I am using the Sylvania H7 bulb. Now, I will admit that because the car doesn't have day-time running lights, I keep my low beams on whenever I'm driving the car (about 18K/yr).

What lifespan are other getting from their replacement headlight bulbs ??

TIA

A little known fact on the 06. The OEM Headlight Bulbs are under Warranty until 5 Years or 60K (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000732.gif)

Then after 06, Hyundai reduced the warranty period to 12 months on OEM bulbs? Is that correct? Because the bulbs are only covered for one year, now.

Perhaps this only concerns other bulbs but head lamps are now only covered for 3 years?

One thing is for sure, the Hyundai 5 year, 60,000 mile warranty is definitely not bumper to bumper as they would lead you to believe. "Weed the fine pwint vewy, vewy keflee.

In no way is the "Limited Warranty" Bumper to Bumper these days. Oh course the first Year or 12,000 miles is as good as it gets.

It seems what I posted applies to the Headlights only, and this coverage was reduced in 2007, from 5 to 3 Years.

With that said, most Dealers would still tell us that the coverage is just for 1 Yr/12,000 miles. I printed a copy of the full

10 Year Warranty. A lot of good info in this PDF!
