This has happened before but it has been awhile since it did it. The car downshifts and then will not shift until I shut it down and restart it. This happened today on my way to work, so I haven't be able to get it scanned yet. Any opinions?

It does have the CEL on. I thought that I was going to get out of work early today and was going to do it then, but that changed.
