I have recieved a question from a possible bidder on eBay. He has a 2003 5 speed manual and wants to know if my 2006, 2.7L/6 speed on a subframe assy. would have any interchange parts problems with his 2003? Has anyone done this swap and what needs to be done to make this work? Looks like the clutch control master cylinder is the same in the service manual but that the shifter cables are attached to the tranny differently. Thanks

Dear Richie,

I am helping Roger Holdorf in Norway with his swap over to the 2.7 liter and 6 speed transmission. You will need to change out the shifter cables and the shifter base. The transmission will fit, but check the clearances on the clutch plate and friction plate.
