I recently bought a 1999 Accent GSi. Currently, the Flex Pipe, Rear Brake Cables (E-Brake) and Reverse light switch (Mounted on gearbox?) are the problems. I'm wondering if anyone could give me a guide on how to change the flexpipe, along with the brake cables, and Reverse Light switch.

Thanksss

hmaservice.com is your friend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This is what sets our vehicles apart from others, IMHO.

1) Flex pipe: Not sure, I'll take a look at my car tomorrow.
2) e-brake cables: Remove console, handbrake lever, then unbolt the cables. Remove wheels, take out drums, shoes. Disconnect cable from that side. Release cable clamps from back of brake plates and from back of console thingy. Then you can pull out the cable(s), stick new ones in. Watch to make sure they are the same size as the old ones!
3) reverse light switch: Is your car auto or standard?
If standard: Find the cable on the transmission (see hmaservice for pics), test with a multimeter when car is and isn't in reverse. The image seems to show that the switch is connected by means of a hex nut, so it shouldn't be too hard to locate and remove if it is faulty.
Auto: It should be built into the selector switch assembly.
