To reset your keyless remote, add a new or different remote you must set the receiver box selector switch to SET. The little black receiver box is located underneath the dash between the radio and the a/c control unit, mounted with two bolts on the left side of the dash support bracket. The selector swicth is on the backside of the black box move the selector switch to SET and press the LOCK or UNLOCK on the remote the return the selcet switch to OFF and test the remote.This picture is an 03 Sonata.
