I was reading on http://www.hmaservice.com/ that these ECU (Electronic Control Unit) upgrades of XG30/300 are avaiable for the following problems with TSB,

Technical Service Bulletin (Attached)

  1. XG P0128/2-3 SHIFT SHOCK. (01-36-007)
  2. XG 3.0 AT 3-4 SHIFT SHUDDER. ( 02-40-004)
  3. XG 300 4-5 SHUDDER & REAR O2 SENSOR. (04-40-004)
  4. XG 300 MORNING SICKNESS(FLORIDA). (03-36-013)
  5. XG 300/350 REAR O2 SENSOR.

Does any body have ECU upgraded with one of these at local Hyundai dealer? What is the proceeder? Are these recall from Hyundai as being know common problems with XG's ?

Thanks

Sheraz

Nobody here to comment on these. I think these update are really important as lot of us have problem with automatic transmission shudder from 3 to 4, which can be solved after one of these.
