This is probably normal as with age, but has anyone noticed any dash backlights burning out?? so far my shifttronic lights + and - are out, Dimmer switch lights are out, trip computer backlight buttons, and half the climate control console lights are out. I was thinking of going to ebay and getting replacements or has anyone taken apart any of these items to replace the bulbs maybe with LEDs??

looks like you've just been unlucky, both my XG's are older than yours and l have had no problems, however the dash. does come off easy. can't help with the LED issue though
