Hello. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000732.gif)

Removing the dash is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Here is a step-by-step. You'll need a short Phillips head screwdriver and that's all.

1. Remove the ashtray by pushing down on the release tab at the top.

2. Behind it you will see two screws; remove them and put them in a cupholder to keep them from rolling away.

3. Grab the bottom part of the dash with both hands and give it a firm tug. If it's the first time being pulled out, it will resist.

4. One side will likely pop out before the other. You can't have it out too far otherwise the other side can't pop free.

5. Once you get both sides pulled free, look under the bottom of the upper piece that surrounds the radio and secondary controls. You'll find two more Phillips head screws in there and you'll need to remove both of them.

6. After removing those screws, give the bottom of the fascia a light lift upward, just enough to free it from the clips.

7. Pull from the top and the upper fascia will pop free. In order to remove it completely, you'll have to disconnect the secondary switches from behind.

Good luck.

Brilliant tutorial! I fitted a stolen vehicle tracking device to mine at the weekend. You just need to be careful of the torque of those screws. They are VERY tight and easy to ruin! Thank you again.

Both of our Santy's are 2004 models. Mine is UK spec and that why the steering wheel is on the correct side. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

Here are the pictures of the dash partly removed.
