This is my first post here so forgive me if this topic has already been discussed, but it is as simple as this: I have all 4 of my snow tires on rims, and today I was planning on switching out my tires for the season (taking regulars off, putting snow ones on). Anyways, I tried 3 of the 4 wheels and all 3 I got the car jacked up (clearly tire is not touching ground), lug nuts were completely off, but for the life of me I could not pull the tires off. I have had issues before just from the build up dirt and crap, but these would not budge at all.

you will need to be more aggresive, spray some de-rust/oil the best you can around the hub and wheel lugs. use a wooden malett or a hammer and block of wood to hit the road wheel side to side to loosen it away from the hub. when you re-fit the wheels put some copper greese on the jointing surfaces to stop this happening again.

BTW welcome to the forums (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000732.gif)

You should've broke the bolts free before raising the car. Try some PBBlaster or Breakfree. Maybe use a torque bar, or kick the tire iron.

He said the lug nuts were all the way off and the rims still wouldn't move.

I've had a little trouble before with the rear wheels (not the fronts for some reason). But yeah, just yank on them or pound them with a rubber mallet or something to break them loose.

put on a nut a few round so the rim doesnt fly away when you hit the backside of the wheel, on the tire not the rim.
