Do you have anymore details about the problem? Does it seem like it's coming from underneath the car or inside from the cowl area and draining down. Also is this on the driver's or passenger's side? During rain or when it's dry outside? And one more, are you using the windshield washers before this happens?

A friend of mine had a Chevy Beretta and the floor had rotted out under the carpet and while it was raining water would start to come up through the floor.

the carpet probably doesn't get enough air movement to completely dry before it gets wet again. the water could be getting in through the windshield seal, the door seal, the cowl, the firewall, or like sudsy69 said the floor. you'll need to get some fans, or even pull up the carpet and completely dry it out. then you can try this, get in the car and have someone spray the car with a water hose and look for the wet spot.

Good idea, they never mentioned loosing coolant or a funny smell, so I didn't think of that.

Ive just had my Heater Matrix (core) replaced as it was leaking. The signs are, wet floor (this was both sides). Car mists up when heater on hot. Your car may even overheat (mind didnt). If you look on the drivers footwell just behind above the Gearbox Tunnel you will see a heater vent - check to see if its wet inside. Also when i set my heater to demist water sprayed out of the vents alover the bottom of the windscreen. It cost me £260 to have mine replaced.
