whenever you get the codes extracted always ask what they were and keep a note of them. now your back to square one. get down to autozone and get the codes checked again (for free) when you have the codes post back on here and someone will be able to help you

Hey everyone.. Well anyways.. i was wondering if someone could help me with my 96 accent.. it seems i lost a ground wire that use to bolt down over on the passenger side on the upper intake bracket.. well it was black with a thin white wire,, well there are 3 holes for the ground wires to be bolted down to.. well im now missing one of those wires because befor i swapped the motor for a new one i remember there being a single black groudn witre there an for some reason now i cant find it anywhere to bolt it back down.. an now im havign problems with a check engine code sayign i hav a bad cam shaft sensor.. well i replaced it 2 times now an still i get the same code.. im thinking because of me missign that groudn wire its screwing up my cars idle.. the only way i can drive the car is if i disconect the cam postion sensor thats located above the end of the cam on the drivers side.. well when i disconect the sensor it has a rough idle after it runs for awhile.. an when i dont disconect it an keep it hooked up if i give it a small amount of throttle it seems to either cut fuel or spark at a certain rpm an it contuins to do so untill i disconect the cam position sensor.. i have checked all my wires an everythign is hooked up.. i need to findout where that single black ground wire runs two because i have switched all the sensors on the motor an still i get the same code.. i have been tryign to fix this cars for weeks an still i cant do it.. i really need sum help with this so please get back to me soon i dotn like drivign the car with the cam postion sensor unplugged becuase it seems like it is runnign leasn because of me doign so.. thank you an waiitng for a quick response.
