True Hyundai cancelled all warranties on US imported vehicles and they made it also retroactive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crying.gif)

You want to save as much money as possible up-front on a transaction like this, because as Pelican says you will not get warranty service in Canada. My suggestion would be to wait on speculation that the U.S. dollar might depreciate further - possibly much further - if "Helicopter Ben" is forced to convert the greenback into toilet paper as a way of escaping the country's crippling debt and deflation fears.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do. The Santa Fe is a well-made and well-priced vehicle regardless of where you buy it.

Exactly. There's 4 Hyundai dealerships within ~20miles of the Peace Bridge. 2 are real close. Make a day of it, spend some cash over here to delay our impending financial disaster by a millisecond or 2. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)
