hello im newbi on this site and im looking for ideas and apinions... im doing a turbo swap in my 2001 accent out of a 93 scoupe .. has anyone ever see this one done ? i have seen many people put a turbo on the stock 1.5 but to do that safely u would need tuneing and the closest place for that here is an 5 hour drive..i have enough turbo gear for 3 cars from owning 3 scoupes ....what do u think any replys helpfull (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif) and if i can figure out how to post pictures ill have some up today

the motor is back out now for as im painting the engine bay and frame, also have a full reubild kit for the motor then it goes back in when everything is clean

what type of turbo is on the stock manifold? And there any upgrades available?

t2 off of a poniac sunbird turbo.. the other upgrade i got is a nissian t3 off of a datsun 280zx turbo...it dont bolt right up it needs an adaptor plate but its so close that its worth the time to make.

I have to ask...how long will your engine last after you're done?

well i havent blown one up yet and if sumthing happens i got enough spare parts to build 3 turbo motors and then sum and when all else fails im puttin the 4g63 out of a sonota and build that up but other than that i think it will handel
