HI!
IVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS!

my hyundai h100 van has been giving me problems starting when warm,But will start effortlessly when engine is cold.
i have replaced glow plugs,starter relay, no joy

I have been advised that it could be the camshaft sensor, Or another sensor.
can any one tell me if they have experienced any similoar problems,and where the position of sensor is?

any help is very appreciated

hi rob, camshaft sensor it more than likely is, this is common on diesel engines. however l am not at all sure where exactly this sensor is fitted on the H100 engine (although it is obviously fitted on the cylinder head at either the front or rear end of the camshaft housing)

if you get a new one you should be able to spot it using the new one as a pattern guide or maybe if you can wait another member might be able to help

just to update you all!
stripped out all seating area in my hyundai h100 2.5 td,
to find there is no camshaft sensor.
So ithought id repalce the fuel filter,and filled it with diesel magic,
still no joy,I think im going to have to send her to a diesel specialist.

Confused and getting no where fast
