Hi,

I've been reading various posts and it seems like the ideal size tire is 205/40/17, and this will fit with no rubbing on a 2002 Accent.
Then i read somewhere that if you want a bit more comfort, to go with 45s,
Has anyone put on 205/45/17?? Any issues?? Rubbing ?

Thanks
H

The 45 series will be a closer match to oem overall diameter , give you a better ride than the 40 series , be less prone to pothole damage and not have quite that 'o' ring look .

The 40 series will be smaller in overall diameter than oem and will shorten your gearing a bit .

Thanks

I just put on the tires/rims.

Fits nicely, no rub. Steering is razor sharp!! and even with the 45 series, its Bumpy.

Just wanted to let everyone know. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Hey Guys,

Ok, had my rims on for a couple of weeks, and yesterday was the first time i had a full car load. It rubs on heavy bumps and hard cornering. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Other than that, its great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
