Hi all.
Just took delivery of my new i20, 1.2 5 dr Classis today.
I'll start by listing a few things I like about the i20.
    Good fuel economy.
      Smooth gear change.
My favourite item, boot tool storage tray above spare wheel, under carpet. Cleverly thought out, in my opinion.

Sure there's plenty more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Keep em coming........

I like the way the aircon comes on automatically when you demist the screen(fan must be on for this to work).

        • The ride is a massive improvement over my metro - not left feeling sick going down parts of the Fosse now (yay)
        • Don't have to keep manually changing the radio to keep it tuned to stations unlike with my metro (which wasn't helped by some scroats ripping the aerial off leaving some of the thread in there so i couldn't replace it)
        • Don't feel worn out after a 2+ hour drive in it
        • Boot takes everything the girlfriend wanted to buy this weekend without getting squashed
        • It has that (heady) new car smell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
        • Is just nicer and easier to use / drive over the older cars i've had

I just like the fact that it's bloody good value for money and when I start listing things like 1/2 dozen airbags, electronic stabilisation, ABS, aircon, 5 years warranty, alloys, 2 ways adjustable steering, USB/ipod connectivity, trip computer and so on to some of the drivers of similarly sized cars from the more 'established' constructors, I really like to see the 'are you sure ?' look when I tell them how much I paid for that lot !
Oh, and I quite like the electric folding mirrors too, although it would've been even better if it had been linked to the remote so that it would operate automatically when you lock the car, now, that would have been neat (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

        Just found another.
Like the front car mat hooks. Helps to keep new mats from sliding about. I drilled a couple of holes in my old mats & placed them straight over the hooks on the Hyundai front carpet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

First frost of the year for me today. Start engine and put rear demist and front demist. While clearing the ice from the side windows see steam coming from the door mirrors

        "heated door mirrors" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Overlooked that one or forgot it but another nice extra.

Right from the word go, and it still amazes me, just how quiet and smooth the engine is. There's more wind and tire noise than engine noise, there again its my first ever new car. The next newest car Ive had was a 2.0 Sierra, F reg and 3 years old, since then its been old bangers so maybe its not that unusual these days!
