Very nice exhaust. I've seen it in person. It's a Tsudo designed exhaust so you know its good. It's an exact replica of an N1 Apexi Burnt Tip exhaust. Tip on this one however is only 4", which I prefer.

Best video(s) I could find at the moment:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VKGUS48ylI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdDUrR5BTw8 (non burn tip one)

I'll show you my final product in the coming weeks. Thanks, Steve.

What are you doing for the catback part? Straight pipe?

Also, just so you know.. the ribbed 1' long thing after the headers is a second cat, not a resonator... don't take that out if you want to pass inspection.

Yeah I know. I'm doing from the cat (the second one) back. So essentially a mid-pipe to muffler. It will be custom done, mandrel shittt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) aha. Will be so good. Got a shop to do it. Will be 2.5 to the muffler.

be prepared to pull some good amount of money, mandrel bent is not cheap and that includes material and labor.

IMHO 2.5 it'll a little too much, not from my experience but someone who owns a Rio whos family business is a muffler shop did 2.5 mandrel bend and he felt the loss of power, just a heads up (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I believe it's been decided for a while now that 2.25" is ideal for our engines.

I thought the headers were 2.5 out, and the second cat was 2.5 in and whatever is stock out.

noup, the headers is 2 1/4 out and the cat is the same size as the stock pipe. not 100% sure on the stock but yes to the headers.

2.5 is good for now. im going to turbo... i'll have the exhaust done in a few weeks. and 4inch TIP isnt that big... most cars around me have 4.25 and 4.5. I think it looks and sounds good. anyone beg to differ?

If you go turbo, the bigger the better, IMO, so why not just get the 3" in the first place. If you get 2.5 first you're either going to want to upgrade anyway, in which case you might as well get the 2.25 which is ideal for NA, or get 3" in the first place and have backpressure until you get your turbo.

I don't like the 4+" out. It doesn't look or sound good to me, but it's your car and my opinion.

well seems that you are doing things backwards...you get first the turbo then do the exhuast, you wont be getting any gain by doing 2.5 now specially if its mandrel bend, also im sorry to say this but i dont believe u are going turbo. I'll eat my words once i see a picture of it but good luck with it tho.

im following the kid on this forum that did a turbo. and he has a 2.5 exhaust. essentially the smalled the exhaust the faster the turbo spools. for a 4cylinder turbo 2.5 is pretty ideal. idk who told u differently. and thanks for being unsupportive in my turbo endeaver. and i live near poughkeepsie new york. within the next months im heading to Lincoln tech in queens.
