Well, my windshield wipers stopped working in a Vancouver downpour last night.

I hear the motor cycling but the blades don't move. Stuck in the middle of the windshield.

Hyundai reliability is now certainly becoming questionable.

nut that holds the arm to the wiper motor fell off, Take it to the dealer as some of the clips to get to it will break when removing. Its under the plastic cowl trim at the rear of the hood.

DId both arms stop moving at the same time? If so, it's very unlikely for both nuts to loosen at the exact same time. Then the problem is more likely to be in the linkages or the motor gear drive assembly.

They said the nut became loose and stripped. They liquid metaled it temp until new part arrives next week.
