Every now and them (more often now) I'm getting a knock sometimes a twang sound coming from my cars drivers side rear.
It seems to happen on corners and sometimes after hitting a bump.
It's almost like somethings hanging down in there and swinging loose.
But I see nothing odd, and no sounds if I bounce the car.
Any guesses?
Going in on the 5th for the usual 'we don't hear it' routine and getting my after market cruise fixed again.
Sometimes the cruise makes the car idle high/fluctuate in neutral but goes away if i flick the switch on/off, last time they said it was a loose linkage.
I regret having the dealer put this cruise on (they supplied it). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif)

I have 71,000 kms on mine allready (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)
Sounds like there maybye a common problem...
Last winter I had a bang/clunk from the back and they said my strut bump stops had fallen down and were bouncing around..
So they drilled holes and screwed them into place.

i had a click/creak sound ever time i hit a bump, on the passenger side, left it to the dealership, dont know what they did. try checking the hatch, and re-torque the screws to see if that helps.

After I've put my car in park and turn off the engine after driving, I hear this sound about 4 or 5 times coming from the rear (passenger side I think, but not sure). Not too sure of whether it's an issue or not, we'll see when I bring it in for servicing on Saturday I guess...

I had the same problem and the dealership replaced the sway bar link and rear ball joint...both under warranty.

Yeah, I'm really not sure. I completely forgot to ask when I got my oil change yesterday. Anyone have any suggestions of what it could be?

Some kind of float in the gas tank? Mine was just the stupid rear seatbelts. Buckle them, mine went away.

I can't add a solution to the mystery, but I also saw in my service history that my car has been taken into the dealer to find a "clunk" sound in the rear end when going over bumps. Tech marked it as "can't reproduce sound". *shrug*
