On a Hyundai Atos Prime 2004 ( about 30000 miles ) 1.1 liter engine the check engine light turn on.
In the car there is just a little bit loss of power.
I would like to know if could be a regular maintenance problem or is a fault.
More than this i would like to know where are located the camshaft sensor and the lambda sensor and how can i check it if they are broken ( like resistance or voltage value on the connector ).

Thanks a lot.

you need to take your car to your dealer or a good garage so that they can read the fault code from the cars on board computer, this will then tell you exactly what the problem is

I did it already.

The error codes indicates two problems:

- camshaft sensor

- lambda sensor

Probably one of them is an hold malfunction and the other is the real problem.

Now i would like to check the part broken with a direct measurement.

The lambda sensor should be near to the exaust collector and i would like to know how to check it.

The camshaft sensor on an engine SOHC shoud be on the upper part of the head and i would like to know where it is located and to check it.

Thanks for your help.
