Bought car in July, first oil change Aug 1 - just reused the 'gasket'. I've seen that some kits on dealer sites include the gasket, but they're a bit pricey if you ask me. Autozone doesn't show it in related parts. Anyone know who has them besides dealers?

TIA

You could probably get a nice crush washer from Autozone if you took your plug in and matched it up.

Welcome to the Forums. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000732.gif) Your Dealer would not reuse the crush washer and gaskets. Why not read up on some Sonata 4G Oil Changes here!

If you get one from the dealer you will get all the gaskets you will need with the filter, Two ruber "O"rings an one drain plug gasket! Used to not come this way but they are now sold that way! Part number is 26320-3C300<< For V6 now the 4CYL you have to buy the drain plug gasket does not come with the filter.

Try asking to buy only a crush washer at your dealer's parts counter. I asked for 2 or 3 at my dealer and the parts guy gave me 1/2 dozen. No charge.

I always use Hyundai filters when I change my oil and the parts guy always gives me a new crush ring.

I don't know why they stop working. Try this!
