G'day to everyone on Hyundai Forum from Probes in Canberra, Australia where there are more kangaroos than Hyundai's. I have a 1991 Hyundai LS mpi and it has been a great little car and has 189,000 kilometres on the clock. Could'nt break it with an axe. It was the first time yesterday that it has ever let me down when it just stopped running. No electrics problems. Seems to starve for fuel. I suspect the fuel pump is broken. I am led to believe that the pump is in the gas tank on this model and I was just wondering how difficult it is to do the job myself. At least to get at the pump and test it?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
