Did rotors and pads all around went to change 2 stripped wheel studs one on each side of the front and noticed you have to take the hub off in order to get them off? letf it alone for now but really want to get it done before winter hits and i have to put my winter rims on and you can see the missing studs with those rims. anyone know of an easier way of doing it?

When I got new tires last year they stripped one of the front wheel studs. They cut the old stud to get it out, but there was no way to get the new stud in. They had to take the hub off, which required a new wheel bearing. Total cost $220 for parts and labor. Fortunately they paid for it (after I complained to the manager), since it was clearly their fault. Sorry I don't have better news for you......

If I had to pay to fix it, I probably would have done the same thing. Nice work!

I've had to replace a couple myself. The shop I had it at asked if they could cut a little piece away of the dust shield to get the new one in instead of spending the time to take it apart. I had absolutely no problem with that, so that's how I had mine done.
