hello , i own a hyundai accent 2003 SOHC and i have a strange problem, every 20 - 25 days i have to add up power steering fluid as it gets below min.
the strangest part in tnat is that i see no oil drops in garage. i recently changed the oil seal for the steering stuff near the rack and the problem still persist, any help would be greatly accepted

Is the power steering pump itself leaking? Mine started leaking right after I had all the belts changed. Changed the pump, new one is leaking too. It doesn't seem to get onto the ground, but is all over the pump and hoses below it.

Check all the fittings coming in and out of the pump if it's leaking from there. They're usually not replaced when the pump is, just a new o-ring. If it's coming from the rack you can buy a seal kit from the dealer ($120 here in canada) and just go to town replacing those. Also check the two input lines from the top of the rack they may be cracked or if not you can just use some teflon tape around the fittings there to help seal that.

If you're running your power steering rack with no fluid running through it be careful, not that I should have to say this, but all the little bits in there are meant to be lubricated when it's used. Unless that is you don't mind replacing a $600 rack.

It can't be a severe leak if the level only looses about 8-10mm a month in the reservoir. Try a power steering stop leak.

I'm a fan of Lucas products. I've added it to my engine, transmission, steering, and fuel. I don't know what you can get.
