I'm worried that Hyundai is going to do something that really ticks me off. What I'm talking about is that I'll buy a 2010 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 and then the very next year Hyundai will give the car a factory tuning and it will have more horsepower and torque and still sell for the same price as last year's.

I'm not familiar with Hyundai's history, so does anyone here know if Hyundai has a habit of doing this? I know Chevy is really bad with this, such as screwing over 2001 Z06 owners as well as LS2 C6 owners.

Yes Hyundai does this too. Every few years they improve the Car. Why they just made 249 HP

out of my 3.3V Sonata with 235 HP. Funny thing, there has not been a single post or claim on how

much stronger the new Version is. In fact I am reading a lot of complaints with this upgraded model.

Bottom line, you will still love your Genesis even if a new refined one comes out in a couple years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Every manufacturer does that. It's called progress. It's more likely to happen after the model has been out for a few years since most cars are replaced on a 4 or 5 year cycle.

I'm afraid to think of how long the o/p goes without buying new skivvies because he's afraid Hanes may change the elastic in his boxers ............................................. Honestly, if you like the car as it stands just buy it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you wait for them to stop improving the car then you will never buy a new car... Mikey hit the nail on the head, imo.
