Which is the best / most reliable kit to buy?

Where do you buy them from?

I was thinking about just geting PIAA's for the highbeams.

Thanks for the help.

DDM Tuning
It's $65. Many of the owners here have a similar kit. They also sell a Raptor brand one for cheaper. I bought a kit from them a while back, the fat Apeicone HID kit. I don't think they carry that one anymore, but shipping was average, took about a week to get to me (MN) from CA.

Most reliable? meh... the DDM kit comes with life-time warranty. I believe it covers the ballasts and NOT the bulbs.

Hope this helps.

I got mine at http://www.infinite-leds.com/catalog/

They were $90 for lows (35w - 5000k). I wanted as close to factory as possible. Don't need a reason to get pulled over at 3am (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Are the ones from Xenon a good buy?

Thanks,

After reading numberous posts and links for the HID upgrade, here are the last sets of questions I will hopefully have. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I got a quote from hidguy.net for the low and high beam kits. I have decided to go with the 5000K.

No HID fogs for me.

Low Beam
http://www.hidguy.net/index.php?main_page=...;products_id=18

High Beam
http://www.hidguy.net/index.php?main_page=...;products_id=13

My questions is if you do both the low and high beam, do you have to mount 4 ballists? If so where is the best place to mount 4 at?

If I go with this kit is it just a plug and play or is there something that else that has to be done that is not in the insrtuctions?

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks,
Jimmy

If you have not decided and ordered yet, you can also try VVME.com, I have a 9003 6K set, they are great. 5 day DHL shipping from China.

I bought the DDM kit also, 35w, 4500k. I love it, you can get the raptor kit now for like 30 bucks on sale from them. I have the slim ballast kit and it looks good, me along with 3 others bought these for our respected cars. My Sonata, a Discovery, a 98 328i, and a Accord. They look great and are close to a stock HID look but a little brighter.
