hey, i have a 2003 Hyundai Getz Gsi and i want to know why my car
makes a noise and jerks when i turn on the air condition. it always
happens. i have no idea about it . if you people are having any
knowledge about it,please do post me.

Hi, what kinda noise are we talking about here ?
Could you pin-point the source of the noise (from the air vent or engine bay) ?

It could be the air-con compressor kicking in.

It's a 1.1 or 1.3 engine, all small cars with aircon are affected when you switch aircon on, in that they drag power from the engine and the revs dip at idle until the ECU has chance to rectify things.

As long as this is just a slight juddery feel as opposed to a knocking noise it may be normal.

could be that you turn on the AC as soon as u start or get your AC duct cleaned there could be a block in the coolant tube as well
