So I emailed KSpec just now (and they got back to me in under 2 minutes!!). They have an Engine Mount Set for Verna 00-06 http://www.kspec.com/list.php?ac_id=69&ai_id=1599 , so I figured it'd be worth asking. I asked: QUOTE Are you guys going to make a KSPEC Engine Mount Set for Verna set for 2008 Hyundai Accents? I would buy a set if you had one. They replied: QUOTE Thank you for visiting kSpec.
Dear *****,
We do not currently have one for newest Verna.
But if you purchase $199 one and if you tell us your engine type, we can make one for you.
If you need this in hurry, you can do this way.
And if you don’t need this urgently, you can simply wait J
Thank you and have a good day.

kSpec.com So does that mean that we very possibly could have someone that will make us Poly Engine Mounts??? If so, this could be awesome. For twice the price of the engine damper, we could have more rock-solid performance. And I suppose if you added the damper in addition to engine mounts, you'd see even more results. This could be epic. But what do they mean "if you tell us your engine type"? Does that mean they'll custom make ones for me or what?

94 shore A filled engine mounts work, but are not as reliable as polyurethane. I used Mcmaster Carr in the past. They will fatigue, crack, and eventually fall apart, just like a stock rubber mount over time. I have never personally seen a poly mount fail. I have seen the metal portion of an engine mount split into 2 pieces from a poly mount. That was due to a botched install though.
Also all of the above will transfer more engine vibrations to the cabin. How much, depends on the car. I have yet to be in a car where the added vibration bothered me to a point where I would remove them. It will cause problems hearing the radio at highway speed though.
Engine mounts are a good mod, dont need high HP to feel the benefit, better shifts, reduced wheel hop, reduced wear on the transmission. etc.
