Sounds like it all the water shorted out your fuse box.

Does it crank and not catch or do nothing when you turn the key. If nothing, then fuses would be a good place to start.

I can answer a few of the questions about the car's condition. I have been trying to help diagnose the trouble. The car has a bad radiator. Based on watching smoke (steam) come out of the top near the front of the car. I saw this when the car was cranking. I could also see radiator fluid in many areas of the engine, so it was definitely spraying. The engine did start at first and we were waiting for it to come up to tempurature, hoping that the radiator leak would fully reveal itself. We shut the engine off for a few minutes to take a peak at hoses, etc... Then when we tried to re start the car to take it for a ride around the block, it would not start and run steady. Every now and then it would try, but a further tap of the accelerator and it would shut down. We pulled all four plugs to see if there was something od going on, but the all seemed normal. Replaced them and the wires, just the same, but the same condition existed. Car will not start. Hopefully that helps.

I'll do a search here to see how to pull codes. Hopefully it is only a sensor or something simple. What do you guys think??

The water has sprayed all over the place and shorted out some relays in the fuse box. The fuse box is that thing with all the fuses in it next to the battery. Once you find the leak and fix that, you need to remove the fuses and relays one by one and try to clean and dry both the connections and the fuse or relay itself. If it still doesn't work after that, then you need a trouble code scan to try and determine which fuse or relay is failed.

If you are tapping the throttle and the engine is stalling then it is not the fuses but more to do with the sensors on the throttle or even the throttle sensor alone. If the fuses or relays under the hood were all wet then the car would not start what so ever, relays in the fuse panel do not control the throttle or the related sensors and unless the fuse panel cover was left off their is no way that the fuses / relays are wet unless that is that the car was driven into a lake !! We appreciate the help to date! Just to be clear,...the car does crank, just won't hang on and run. Every now and then, it tries to idle, but the idling is very rough and short lived. Then as I tap the accelelrator, it shuts right down.

I'm guessing here since I'm no mechanic but if coolant got sucked into the air intake could the MAF sensor be screwed up and be causing this?
