hello all

my 2000 sonata is doing some weird stuff lately

all is fine at first but after driving a few mins the turn signals will stop working

is this an electrical problem? or am i looking at something alot worse?

An intermittant problem like that could have any cause. It could be:

Turn signal bulbs are loose or rusty
Multi switch on the steering column has loose connections or bad wiring or maybe going bad
Turn signal relay goes bad when it warms up

yup

when it warms up it goes bad

im taking a guess here but i think its the thermal flasher

Did you figure out what the problem was? I have a 2000 Sonata 2.4 as well, and my turning signals work intermittently as well. I may get it to blink 2-3 times, but then it stops.
