I have an 08 LTD Veracruz The other day when starting the car the A/C unit was not working. No lights or anything. We did hear the rear working. After grocery shopping it worked again.

Also, sometimes the steering wheel will not return back to fully recessed after turning the "key' off. If I quickly turn the ign. on and off again (ever so slightly with more force) it does return.

Don't know about the A/C problem, but there is a TSB out for the power tilt & telescoping steering wheel limit switches.

Mine has this problem once in a while. It bothers me more when it doesn't go to the preset memory position when I turn on the ignition, but not enough to make me take it into service just for that. Next trip there I'll get them to do this fix.

I know it is the limit switches because when it acts up, the 4-way control rocker switch doesn't let me tilt all the way down or out.
