Ive been running my h100 2.5 std on bio diesel now for a month. Started with50/50 mix with normal diesel now its on 100%bio.
Its costing 90p litre and i get 200 mile to £30 does this sound good?
Im not too sure about mile per gallon but when i was running normal diesel in it it was costing £40 for around 225 mile if i was lucky!
Any comments appreciated

At 90p a litre you are getting 33.3 litres for £30 which equals 7.33 galons (4.546 litres to a Uk gallon) 200 miles divided by 7.33 = 27.28 mpg.
Do you preheat the oil or just run it as it is only you may encouter some problems in the colder weather. I have made no changes to my 2001 2.5dlx and run 70% veg in the summer and 50% in the winter. If you have access to a cash and carry you should be able to get a better price for the oil. Our local sainsburys sell it at £2.55 for 3 litres which works out at 85p a litre i'm lucky as my wife is a manager for them so i get staff discount on top.
On a mix i get around 29mpg i do make sure i change all my filters every 5,000 miles and engine oil as the boffins claim this can help improve economy by 10%.
Simon.
