I need new Rotors for my Sonata as it has been vibrating.

I wasn't sure what rotors to get, I do NOT care about rust or looks, any of that BS. I just want to get something that works and works well.

I was looking around and saw these two sites:

http://brakeperformance.com/site/brake_rot...9&ad=direct

http://www.streetsideauto.com/products.asp...mp;lsbEngVins=F

Is there something that someone here can recommend me instead? I would like to save money as well.

Do you just need fronts, or do you need rears too? I usually shop eBay for such things.

I'll have to try mail-order for rotors. Usually I'll call around to my local Napa, Carquest and Autozone. Which ever has the best deal is where I'm headed. Typically I find my local Mom & Pop Carquest or Napa to have the best price and I've never had any issues with them.

same company i got mine from, but i wouldnt bother with the drilled & slotted ones if i have to buy rotors again... same material as the ones I bought without the drill & slots.. they work well, but my driving is unnecessary to have the D&S version...

I bought the same rotors ddix mentions (the drilled/slotted from R1) and have had them on for a little over a year now with no problems. I got the drilled/slotted to look nice behind my mesh aftermarket wheels which they do but I really don't push the car. The few times I've had to stop suddenly, they grabbed!

My '06 is under warranty and has vibration during hard stops as. Talked to the dealership and they said brakes aren't covered after 12k miles. Seeing what you've attached what do I do to get them to look at the rotors more closely? How do they know if the wrapping is heat related or not?

I am licky and live close to a BAP/GEON parts store and usually end up with BREMBO rotors at very good price. Had them on my '88 BMW 750il and they were great.

If you get brake performance, make sure to get the top of the line. Because they will lifetime warranty on warp. This is the only company that I have seen who will even print this. I have a buddy who used these on a max, they're good. They do the job.

But like everyone here said, there are tons.

To me you can't go wrong with the brake performance b/c even if you get drilled and slotted, which some will scream "cracking cracking" ...well you have lifetime warranty on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you're not into drilled/slotted, brembo blanks will do just fine.
RTP blanks will do just fine too probably.

Ebc, R1, Rotora, stop tech, list goes on.

I have also purchased cross-drilled / slotted rotors from R1 for another car of mine.

I also had no problems whatsoever and they look so much better than the factory ones.

I am waiting until spring and buying them for the Sonata.
