Long story short, I'm thinking of cancelling my order for an i20 and ordering an i30, have the delivery of these been any quicker than the i10's & i20's ??

The i30 is a much superior vehicle, my daughter swapped her i20 style cdi for an i30 comfort crdi, this now has a six speed box and the updated engine, road tax is now only £35 a year she's absolutley delighted with it, ordered it mid July picked it up 9th Sept!!

Gazza!!!

I ordered my I30 last week and get it next wednesday.

The dealer Had an order in for 5 with only 3 taken so I took the available blue.

An order for one with specific upgrades would have been 6 weeks but the I30 is fully loaded anyway. With £3.5k scrappage it's a cracking deal

i was considering canceling my i20 and sticking with the current car until new year but honest john from the daily express changed my mind and told me to sit it out.
i went to my dealers yesterday the woman who took the order said i30's are as bad as ii10 and i20's and i read in the i30 forum that someone was up to 3 months as they had run out of parts to build he's car.
i'd love to know where the 2400 cars that are being built in india are going if they devoted 1 day a week to uk sails that 20thousand cars a month but they can't be producing even that amount for us because theres still a massive back log and its getting longer all the time if you had to order now across all 3 models in the i range my dealer said yesterday delivery was earliest mid to late january.

Ordered i30 on 27/09 with small deposit-drove it away 30/09. Cant say quicker than that. Must admit i did order the 1.4 comfort in vivid blue-must have timed it right for the delivery.
I did want an i20 comfort 5 dr with black interior in the blue but i was told by 4 or 5 different suppliers throughout the UK that it would be around mid Nov or Dec for delivery.
No regrets and cannot fault the garage or the salesman.
(I did have a tear in my eye and said a little good bye and a gentle pat for the old car. I even asked the salesman to take care when he drove it around the corner and asked him to treat it well-how said is that?)

somewhere on the i30 forum someone asked how the cars got to tilbury only through sheer luck and one of my mates spotting them at dover did i work it out the drive them over on car transporters from where they are made.
so the bad news is you can't follow them on boats............

I ordered my i30 on the 23rd Feb and will pick it up on Monday, all being well. Dealer was amazed as apparently there is a big backlog. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
