i have just bought the van second -hand i love it but i have to have window open all the time...
is it a seal problem with the engine under the seat? - what should i do?..c[s this a common problem?cough cough

l presume you are talking about diesel fumes. check the rear door to make sure in shuts properly and also check the rubber seal around it for damage.

is the exhaust system 'blowing' on any part of it

check also that there is no oil leaking from the engine which may be spilling on to the exhaust manifold or pipe and burning

diesel oil fumes. will check seal and oil leaks from engine cheers
