To me between these two cars the overall best in the rx7, engine performance, dynamics and estetics, clearly rx7 is better. Check out their pics a www.turtlewaxtour.com/gwt_main.html

that's like saying "would you prefer a 1JZ-GTE or a 13BT, both engines are great and can be tuned to unimaginable area's but still the question remains, supra or rx7? well.. personally.. i'd prefer a rx7 over the supra, mainly because my brother is building up a 95supra with a 2JZ-GTE in it atm, only person i know with a rotary is my mate's brother who own's a rx7 series 1 and that's a 13bt (fc3s series 5 transplant), goes hard.

The way I see it, it goes like this. TT of course not NA supra is obvioulsy faster, but, an RX-7 is better on a track or course. You make a supra a 1/4 track queen, and a RX-7 a road course dominator.

Right...... The 2jzgte has proven time after time to be one of the most durable and power potential engines ever made. Can you say that about the rx7? Case closed.

A good friend of mine in Louisiana transplanted a built 5.0 V8 (347ci) and tranny out of an 89 Mustang into an RX-7. No adders and would run mid-10s in the quarter all day long. Very streetable and reliable.

He's also got an old Mazda B210 that would run low 10s in the quarter with a rotary, no adder - just a big 1050 Dominator sitting on top of it. I remember going to the track with him and he would leave the line at 12k and shift at 15k ... with an open header ... very LOUD.

If where basing the RX-7 vs the Supra thing on the whole package: looks, style, handling, engine, performance, potential...then the RX-7 wins hands down.

I mean I like the Supra and it's great but I am a bit byassed. I don't think anyone can answer hoenstly as they must have a favourite.
