I just purchased an '05 Elantra GT Hatchback and I love it. Only thing is I need mud flaps and calling the dealer got me a price of $90 for the four plus an hours time, probably another $80!

Does anyone know where I can get OEM or aftermarket mud flaps for that car (would another years model fit?) and would I void any warranty if I installed them myself?

Thanks!

Any splash guards from a 2001-2005 Elantra should fit the '05. Fortunately mine came installed before I even saw the car for the first time. Unfortunately, they really don't make that big of a difference anyway, but they are nice to have though. I still get mud and dirt directly behind the guards anywway. On your warranty issue, you would have to discuss that with your service manager at your Hyundai dealership.

thease mud flaps that you refer to are easy to fit as long as you have basic d.i.y knowledge. although l can't speak for dealers in the states there is no way fitting thease yourself would affect the warranty in this part of the world and l would be very suprised if it would where you are
