Anyone would be interested in a Labor Day GTG (get together) @ Darlington Provincial Park? As you can see in this other thread, it's quite nice there and not entirely in a parking lot.

http://www.torontohyundaiclub.com/forum/vi...p?f=7&t=384

So maybe we can get the people who are still in town to meet up for a nice picnic with some shade away from the busy city. Bring your significant others, Area 3A (where we were) had some good areas to sit and read, or lounge around...

Send me a PM to let me know if you are interested in coming.

Cheers

Where: Darlington Provincial Park
1600 DARLINGTON PARK RD
Courtice, ON L1E 1A1
Site #3A
When: September 6th @ 11AM
Price: Cost to enter $10-18 (Was $13 when we went previously)

Directions from 401 heading East.

1. Take exit 425 for County Rd-34/Courtice Rd toward Courtice
2. Turn right at Courtice Rd
3. Turn right at Darlington Park Rd

I'm having a problem with this talk about the other Forum. If you are all going to meet, that is

great. But let us keep other Forums out of these two threads that were somehow deposited here, from our Accent Board.

Thanks,

I'm not going to get into a fight over this thread , however Toronto Hyundai Owners Club is an Official Hyundai Club Here in Ontario Canada . Are you tring to say that you as a Mod writting on behalf of www.Hyundai Forums.com is trying to sensor our ability to comunicate with one another and therefore prefer us to no longer use this forum. as a forum member for some time now I have seen quite a few other Hyundai club sites having been discussed here with no such responce from the Moderators before now. There are actually quite a few us on here as registered members that I have seen and just so you are aware I was first directed to this forum buy Toronto Hyundai Club members and was told that this was a great site to register if you are an avid Hyundai owner. What I am saying is what our Forum Administrator is saying. Any other communicating about your Forum should be done over there. The "Off Topic Lounge" is where another Moderator dumped this Thread. In fact two of them. I have heard from "F1junkie" giving me permission to delete his threads. I will not do that, but I will lock them. We have Canadian Administrators who will look at this situation. If your Regional Club chats & meets/links are allowed here, either this thread will be unlocked, or perhaps we can put future threads in the Regional North America/Canada sub forum?

Actually, posting links to other Hyundai sites is only allowed for technical information purposes only. Regional forums are ok, but worldwide ones are not. Thanks!

It was posted in the wrong section and I have now clarified my position with the moderators on this. We generally only allow linking to other sites for technical purposes, but linking to regional based forums for non-profit events that could benefit our users is fine as well. I am re-opening the thread and if the meet wasn't so far East, I would show up as well. So there is the clarification we were all looking for, and I hope some of our members get out there and show their support for our fellow Hyundai brothers! Cheers and I wish you the best of luck with the meet!
