IMO there is definitely a way to fit the v8 in the Genesis coupe. I think Hyundai is not doing it for a couple of reasons. One, they might want to scope out the popularity of the current Genesis coupe models before expanding their line to three engines, playing it safe. Two, Hyundai (at least for now) still has a reputation to keep for being the "price is right" choice; so making a v8, performance oriented sports car would put them over the $30,000 threshold. Not saying Hyundai don't eventually want to break that image, but being as smart as they are business-wise (sticking to what works and improve step by step), it might be a few years until we see a V8 Genesis coupe.
