awesome write up hmr !!

I've got 60K on my clock too and I've had similar experiences - not one problem, (knock on wood), and have replaced my front brakes

I don't have as many pet peeves as you but then again I don't really drive my car much anymore

Speaking of brakes:
We had some bad weather come through all of a sudden, and on an exit ramp, traffic was backed up and about 30 cars were all of sudden on dead stop...I was able to stop and they were so solid despite the heavy rain. The guy behind me couldnt stop but he was smart enough to jolt to my right and basically he was lined up with me but on the shoulder beside me...actually in front of me....yaaacks.

I thought i would never say this, but these 300 dollar rotors and pads saved me from ramming someone from the back today.

Now of course the cause of this I am sure is the fact most drivers in San Antonio freak out when they see rain..it's like they see a meteor from the sky and they change their driving habits drastically...like going 10 instead 50...just creates dangerous situations on the interstate.
