I did a search and surprisingly found nothing on this.

I'm looking for information as to how anyone was able to add RCA ports/video in for the 2009 Nav. My goal is to run my iPhone's screen on the Nav screen. This is easily done via 'Video Out' or 'Screensplittr' app on the phone but I need to be able to plug RCA cables in.

So far I'm not seeing NavTool, TVandNav2Go offering anything for Hyundai. Thx.

Since this question is not Model specific, I will move this over to the Car Audio/Video/Electronics section.

Perhaps someone has done this, and can share any info. Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)

There is a video in module available and its yours if you speak Korean....

It plugs into the stock iPod/USB module in the 2009 Sonata.

In case anyone else wonders...

Using an RCA to 3.5mm (stereo) converter works... at least on the 09 Sonata w/Nav. Something like this. I would assume this would work for other cars with the aux and nav options... worth a shot anyways. I plugged it in the aux and it does work, but the background noise is awful, but it could be the cheap eBay cord that I got... plus I used my cybershot to plug into it... this has got me thinking... I remember someone put a dtv converter box in their car, I'm tempted now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

I decided I'm going to hold out for the perfect Nav - the upcoming Apple 'Tablet'. Just plug that in and be done with it. I know it'll fit nicely sitting on the open ashtray of my Santy like the iPhone does.
