I'm 27. I went for the Oyster Grey Comfort This car was a no brainer for me - right price, right size, good spec and it looks good (in my opinion)

QUOTE (scoobyjones1 @ Oct 15 2009, 06:10 PM) I was 48 though I feel round 68 now with all the problems I have had dealing with Hyundai after sales...and I should have chosen grey...to match my new hair colour...... Oh No! I can't help thinking I should cancel my order, but it couldn't be any worse than the car I'm scrapping which I've had to stop using for fear that it won't last until the i10 arrives (i'm assured i'm in for a long wait) However, I'm also sure that for all the people with various complaints of varying degrees, there must be as many or more that hare happily trundling around in their perfectly acceptable i10s - either that or they're not the complaining type. QUOTE (goodoldboy @ Oct 16 2009, 05:11 PM) Don't cancel. I am highly delighted with my Style and I am sure that there are many like me. Scoobyjones is having a real hard time at the moment and my sympathies go out to him but there are plenty of others that have a great car and really good back-up. I am sure that you will be delighted when you get yours........ Thanks! That makes me feel better about it all. Now I just have to wait patiently for the delivery.

53 - Just had a birthday, and a very happy i10 owner. The car had a birthday too, and just clocked up 12500 trouble-free miles. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

26. If anyone has a comment on the car I will laugh at them and say "yes, but I have a 5 year warranty, £35 a year road tax and it does over 50 mpg".

Well said, but be careful with the last part of that post (IMG: style_emoticons/default/whistling.gif) it's a bit of an issue with some owners, especially as most of us are not getting anywhere near Hyundai's quoted figures. A quick glimpse at the 'Fuelly' thread should enlighten. Dave

39. Like someone said earlier, I've had a few comments but the having a spin in the car, the tax and and warranty soon puts a stop to the mickey taking.

The car is young.. like 6 days but I am a tad older, a mere 26,290 days and my wife that owns the i10 is much younger at 25002 which to you youngsters is 72 and 68 ish. It's a great little car to drive for any age and ideal for old granny to tootle around in, collecting and delivering the grandchildren and doing all her other local journeys. I drive things like Renaults or Peugeots of the larger variety for caravanning but am very impressed with her new i10. Can't complain re the fuel consumption or especially the car tax of £35 which is about 5 times less than for my car!

I'm 74 but the i10 is my wife's. When we bought it earlier this year it was a toss up between the Daihatsu Sirion and the i 10. My son reckoned the former was like an invalid carriage on wheels so we went for the Hyundai. With my height I find the driving position less comfortable than my sports SEAT Ibiza but I really enjoy the rear view mirror images of BMWs etc which the i10 accelerates past. Paul

Well I definitely think this thread shows the variety of drivers quite well, seen a good few i10's around since I got mine 6 weeks ago and all the drivers were grinning like me (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) lol
