Need to know more details about your car, but most seem to be solved by doing this:

System operation

Pressing remote control lock button locks vehicle and activates system
Indicators flash once.
Pressing remote control unlock button unlocks vehicle and deactivates system
Indicators flash twice.

When

Remote control added or replaced.
System malfunction.

How

1, Access alarm system control module located under driver's side lower fascia
2, Set memory switch to SET position.
3, Press remote control lock or unlock button.
4, Set memory switch to OFF position.
5, Confirm synchronization has been successful by locking and unlocking vehicle.
6, Repeat procedure for second remote control.
7, Synchronization can also be carried out using diagnostic equipment.

NOTE: A maximum of 2 remote controls can be programmed.
NOTE: If remote control fails, system can be deactivated as detailed in the owner's handbook.

Hope this helps,

Phil

No need to dismantle anything, just get under the dash with a torch and look up.

There is a black box sticking out of the back of the fuse box, it has a switch on it and the sticker next to the switch says SET...OFF
