Hello everyone,

First time poster here. I was asked to do the 60K mile service again today (I am at 70K) and I just thought there are some things I can do for myself. Its almost embarassing to admit, but I changed the air filter and the wiper blades today and am excited to do more. It's liberating to find out how easy and cheap somethings are to do on your own.

I was told the PCV Valve should be replaced. The dealer said that was a $40 repair - I was told by a friend that it is easy to do. The part cost $6 and I think I can do it, but I don't know where to find the Valve.

Does anyone know where to find the PCV Valve and does anyone have any tips for changing it?

Many thanks!

After reading my own rambling post, I see it could be more clear.

Does anyone know where to find the PCV Valve on the 2005 Tucson itself? I can't find it.

Many, many thanks!!!

FOUND IT!!!!

However, I cannot get it out. I am proud for taking enough stuff apart to find the PCV, but I do not have the ability to actually remove it to replace it.

Any tips on how to remove it would be great!
