Hi all,

I'm in Australia and new to this forum (and in owning a Hyundai too I must say). Now I have recently bought a 1992 Excel Sprint and it has an odd fault, firstly the front left parker light will not work, even with a new bulb. the left rear tail light will also not illuminate with a new bulb and the instrument panel lights will not work. I have found a small fuse box in the engine bay but it didn't have any fuses for these lights, is there another fuse panel somewhere?

I hope someone can help.

Thanks

Peter

Yes you're right, I found it tonight and sure enough it was just a fuse, changing that fixed the instrument lights, one tail light, one number plate light and the lefthand parking light!

All I need to do now is to fit a thermostat and set the timing as it 'pings' a little. How often do we need to change timing belts on these, is it every 100,000kms?

Thanks

Peter
