ok... so i looked everywhere i could think of for information on a oversized alternator, but i just cant find anything :angry2: so where can i find one? if anyone knows or do i have to use two factory's with a custom bracket made by me? .... thanks!! :crying:

Hi!........why not ask your Dealership if they can fit the alternator from a larger Hyundai to your car.
Alternatively (lol) they may be able to adjust the voltage regulator, which, in our cars, is built into the actual alternator.

you don't say why you need to uprate your alternator, however the best way to do this is to go to a specialist firm that re-manafactures starters and alternarors (your local spares and accesories shop should be able to help you) they should be able to up-rate your exsisting alternator. doing this through a main hyundai dealer is going to cost you plenty.
