Hi,

I have a 2008 model 1.4 petrol i30 fitted with the climate control - recently when i have switched on the air conditioning I have noticed the engine idle speed seems to run unevenly, missing occasionally.

I never tried to start climate control in idle. You should mind that this produces more load and it's normal that the rpms go down but finally it should run stable at the same rpm as before (could take some seconds)

Hi
There shouldn't be any difference at all the engine idle simply increases a little to compensate for the extra load sounds like something is a bit off key - Take it into the dealer it seems to be a warranty issue- faulty plug etc.
