Hi my name is Linus and I live in Sweden. Im 22 years old and im working as a Hyundai-mechanic. After a time working in the shop I tought I should try a hyundai car. Had a Opel Vectra -93 before but there was getting more and more trouble with it.

So I bought a black Getz 1.6 GLS Sport 2005 manual with 48000 km on the odometer.

At first I wanted to sell it because I tought it was a little bit slow and not my kind of car.
But then I changed my mind and started to make some small beautifications and then I couldnt stop. =)

Now I really like the Getz, its little and agile, low fuel consumption but still quite alert. I wanted the 1.6 beacause the 1.1 and 1.3 is a little bit slow for me.

Here is some pics on the modifications Ive done so far. And the goal is to make it very very dark =)

I removed the front bumper to touch up some of the parts on the front impact girder.

Painted the radiator black.

I also removed the orginal grill net and mounted a custom sheet grill net for cars.

Grinded all the brakes and painted them black.

Reattached the border. Painted the emblem black and reattached on the border. It looked too naked in the front with out the border. I dont like that you can see the horn and the hood opener.

Things that Im planning to modify and replace.

Remove the emblems on the boot and paint the emblem black.

Tint the rear windows black but not nonseethroughable.

Mount 16x7 rims with 205/40 or 205/45 tires. Ive been thinking about wich colour I shall have on the rims. White or black?

Paint the non-reflected areas in the headlamp and mount a Bi-Xenon kit.

Hey mate, was wondering where you got the tail lights (the darker ones) just really want to get rid of my red ones and i've searched everywhere and can't find anything, some headlights would be nice too. Don't want to do too much work on the car so hoping there are some that will fit nicely. Please get back to me. Mike .thanks.

I havent found any headlights yet. But im hoping there is comming with black angel or devil eyes.

This is annoying. I was waiting at a petrolstation for my turn to refill. I had a Volvo S40 new model 2 meters to the left and it stod verticly. Suddenly the S40 starts to reverse and bam right into my front left fender and front bumper. The woman didnt check her mirrors if it was clear behind her.

I will get everything repaired and payed by her ensurance-company but still. I have to send my car to the bodyshop and thell fix it. Here is some pics of the damage on my Getz =(

That's sad. Another time and effort wasted due to someones carelessness. But at least you managed to get the person who did the damage. Mine, sad to say, I don't even know who did the dents to my fender. And im still living with the dents. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crying.gif)

finally the dent on my car has been fixed and after that Ive lowered it with Eibach 30/30 springs.
The handling didnt improved so much that I was hoping for. But still better than orginal.
