Last year my wife bought a 07 Azera program car. Aside from the usual problems ,handling, cracked dash ect. no major problems. Well a month ago one of the low beams burnt out. She stopped at NAPA picked up 2 bulbs and they won't fit. Well OK she returned them and they couldn't find anything else that didn't have the same base. Same deal at auto zone. So she went to the dealer and after calling one after another, mechanic sales person ect. they were all clueless. They will find out what is going on and get back to us with lightbulbs. It has been over a month ..........nothing. She has been pulled over twice for driving with one headlight. Anybody have a clue what is going on?????

I seem to recall reading that they switched the base part way through the 2007 model run...

Your '07 uses an H11B low beam bulb. When mine went out I was able to find one at Advance Auto. Not all stores have it, Here's the link http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wc...AMPAMS__h11b___H11's are common and will fit with a little modification of the light housing. I went ahead and replaced both with HID's. Much better light/

Hey, I want to thank you guys for the replies. Rminor was correct these are H11b lamps and hard to find. I found them right where he said at advance auto parts. These are the new style bulbs, and rightly so. This was the easiest headlight replacement I have ever done, insert in base a half turn locks it in and makes electrical connection. I only have one dealer within 100 miles and they don't even stock them. Hopefully as demand picks up they will become easier to find...........thanks again!

Therefore I ordered a HID kit with H11 from ebay and found out that my '07's low beam is "H7". I had to order H7 bulbs. On internet, there are mixed info about the bulb type; some say H11b and some say H7.

"On internet, there are mixed info about the bulb type; some say H11b and some say H7."
The issue is that both are correct. Before buying you need to understand which you have. Images of each are available on the net. Both are also in the manual.
Realize that H11B and H11 are not the same. I know because I made the mistake of previously purchasing Osram H7s. I kept them because they will work in the high beams.
There is one place on the net that sells a modified H11 HID kit that works in the Azera that used the H11Bs.

There is one place on the net that sells a modified H11 HID kit that works in the Azera that used the H11Bs. I replaced my H11B's with H11 HID bulbs. The difference is in the connection. The H11B connects as it's turned to fasten it in. The H11 has to be connected separately. If you do a search on HID's for H11B you can find pictures of the little plastic thing that has to be cut or broken off to let H11 bulbs turn and fasten.

H11B Sylvania/OSRAM (OEM) bulbs are available at Pep Boys and Advance Auto Parts stores, typically at about a 100% premium (maybe $25/each). Not all stores of either company stores stock them, you have to check around or call around. Online, you can find them made by CAC for about $9 - same 550 hour lifetime rating, ebay typically has at least one seller with them all the time at about $12 each (550 hours) and I've seen a set of H11B "ice blue" bulbs sold from Hong Kong on ebay for around $45 (those are usually only advertised as 200 hour lifetime). They "slipstreamed" the bulbs in the middle of the 2007 model year, although a very few of the early '08 Azeras (from what I've told) have H7/H7 high/low combination.
The best 'cure' for the H7 (1400 lumen) high-beams is to use the "special use" H7/OSRAM bulbs from CandlePower.com that are actually H9 (2100 lumen) bulbs on an H7 base. Using the H9-on-H7-based high beams lights up the road for miles!
Those bulbs both can easily be replaced by anyone with common sense and about 45-60 seconds, but the H8 fog lamps are a PITA to get to, requiring you to place your tires at the tightest possible turn away from them on each side (separately, obviously) to get to them without ripping your fingers off, and regardless of whether you're using factory/OEM or aftermarket bulbs, they tend to last no more than 1 year if you use them. Lately I've seen some H8/LED replacement bulbs on ebay.com that should fix that problem once and for all, since LED bulbs don't burn out (for all practical purposes) - in YOUR lifetime, anyway...
